My name is Jason Jones and I am a San Diego native currently living in Southern California. I pride myself on being an outdoorsman, waterman, angler, hunter, foodie, and conservationist that simply loves to cook for people, create and experiment with amazing dishes to share, along with the stories and adventures from the harvests. I simply can't imagine a better way to share a bit of yourself with others whether it's friends, family, acquaintances, or newcomers. I've had the ability to follow my foodie passion through almost every single state in the union, as well as across over fourteen countries exploring some of the most incredible and unique culinary creations. Although I'm not a trained chef by education, I am a very experienced field and home cook with an endless passion for harvesting and cooking while learning and exploring all along the way. Just as important, I love to educate folks on how to properly care for their harvest to ensure the safest and highest quality delicious meals while reassuring even the most novice hunter-chef that there is no reason to ever be intimidated by their harvest. An incredible dish is in reach and just around the corner.
I'm truly hoping this website can be more of a community 'gathering' for hunters, anglers, foragers, cooks, chefs, and frankly for anyone that has interest.
